The ICC Test rankings have been updated, reflecting outstanding performances in both Test and T20I cricket. Rishabh Pant of India and Ben Duckett of England are among the biggest movers, achieving career-best rankings after their impressive performances in the first Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at Headingley.

Rishabh Pant's Remarkable Ascent

Rishabh Pant has surged to seventh place in the ICC Test batting rankings following his twin centuries at Headingley. He scored 134 and 118, becoming only the second wicketkeeper in Test history after Zimbabwe’s Andy Flower to achieve this feat. Notably, Pant is the first Indian wicket-keeper batter to surpass 800 rating points in Test history.

Joe Root remains the top-ranked Test batter, followed by Harry Brook in second place. Shubman Gill of India has climbed five places to 20th after his century in the first innings.
