"It’s the pitch where everything happened! Barbados will forever be in my veins," Rohit exclaimed, highlighting the significance of the venue in their journey.

After a 17-year wait, India clinched the T20 World Cup, defeating South Africa in a nail-biting final that went down to the wire. The victory was a testament to the team's unwavering resolve and exceptional performance throughout the tournament. India remained undefeated, showcasing dominance and resilience.

One of the most memorable moments was the high-octane clash against arch-rivals Pakistan. Rohit recalled the intensity surrounding the match, stating, "It wasn’t just a game. Two days before the match, we were locked in — tight security, fans everywhere, you could feel something special was coming. It felt like a festival had taken over."

India emerged victorious by six runs in a low-scoring thriller, with Jasprit Bumrah earning the Player of the Match award for his exceptional bowling performance (3 for 14).

Despite an early batting collapse, Rishabh Pant’s courageous knock of 42 off 31 balls stabilized the innings, helping India reach a total of 119. Rohit praised Pant's contribution, saying, "On that pitch, his 42 was like scoring 70. We knew 140 was par, but with our bowlers, even 119 could work."

Rohit lauded Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh for their impeccable execution of the game plan. "Bumrah is a weapon — he takes wickets and dries up runs. Arshdeep’s been brilliant too, and they were crucial in pushing the game in our favour," he acknowledged.

From the electrifying atmosphere of the India-Pakistan encounter to the tense final in Barbados, Rohit's reflections capture the essence of a team that created unforgettable memories for the nation.
